Team spirit is an Erasmus+ partnership for cooperation, designed to respond to a complex of factors that influence school education in a socio-psychological context, dominated by the effects of the pandemic.

Children of all ages need to be with their mates to improve their social skills, to grow their psychological awareness and to understand differences among people. Schools cannot ignore these needs as they are directly connected with the pupils’ educational performance and they have to try to find a way to support pupils’ coherence, pupils’ inclusion and healthy dynamics of school classes, groups and society.

The main project objective of the project is to find natural inclusive activities based on sport elements which will support inclusive environment in the school classes and help those with specific or special needs to become an equal and valuable part of the class. We want to support the pupils’ understanding of inclusivity and give them personal experience with the differences in competition and cooperation attitudes. This way, the pupils will gain social skills which will positively affect their school performance and their cooperation, self-awareness and understanding of differences.

Specific project objectives are:

– To improve inclusive education by supporting pupils’ understanding of differences and cooperation power based on sportive activities and eco-friendly sports;

–  To enlarge teachers’ and pedagogical staff knowledge and skills related to the use of sports and sportive activities as a tool for the inclusion support of a class;

–  To improve specific skills related to project management and implementation, to support schools’ development and internationalization of all the 4 partners;

–  To boost European collaboration and to improve pupils‘ and teachers’ ICT skills, foreign languages and soft skills, including through participation in the eTwinning parallel project;

–  To create open educational resources: a guide „Sport as a tool for inclusion support“ including best practice examples developed by the schools during the project implementation and/or gained from the LTTs activities available on the project website and Erasmus result platforms.
